Parkland International is an established company manufacturing and designing capital machinery for the UK and overseas converting industries. The company is housed in a modern, well-equipped factory located approximately 10 miles north of Manchester, having excellent access to the national motorway network and Manchester Airport.

The company specialises in two main types of converting machinery namely reel to reel slitting & winding machines and core cutting machines.

All slitting machines, both centre and centre surface rewind types, are made to order from standard designs which are modular in construction. This allows the customer to select the features they require to add to a basic model in order to produce a simple or sophisticated machine specifically for their production requirements. All the established types of slitting techniques are available i.e. rotary shear, crush cut and razor slitting. Customised and custom-built machines are a Parkland speciality.

A range of spooling machines has recently been developed that spool paper and film liners with exposed adhesives

Custom-built unwind and rewind stands and carriages in either shafted or shaftless formats are supplied for original equipment or existing machinery.

A reel core cutting machine has been recently developed that will cut both cardboard and plastic cores

Smaller manual type core cutting machines are produced in batches for stock whilst the larger manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic machines are made to order. Parkland is the leading UK supplier of single knife core cutters and various demonstration models are available in-house for customer trials and inspection.

Air differential shafts, digital and automatic knife setting and laser core positioning systems are all available with original equipment or retrofitting to existing machinery.

Parkland also undertakes upgrading and refurbishment of machines including on-line modifications to existing process lines such as laminating, coating and nonwoven ranges.

Quality and attention to detail ensure that machines leave our factory in first class condition for a long trouble free life with a minimum of maintenance. All machinery guarding is to the latest Health & Safety Standards and machines are CE marked with a Certificate of Conformity provided in the Instruction Manual. A high quality finish to the machines is attained by enamel painting all static machinery parts including guards. Machined metal parts, where practical, are zinc plated for corrosion resistance to most industrial atmospheres. Complimenting the above is Parkland�s total commitment to delivering equipment on time with full technical support after installation, commissioning and training to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
