Faircom has conveniently stopped trading, most likely because it then doesn't need to pay cashback to the many (possibly hundreds) of customers who are owed money. I wonder how many, like me, are still owed 100% of their money. A new shop seems to have opened in its place, but as far as I know its the same faces doing the same jobs as before so apart from this legal bit, nothing has changed. The director of Faircom, according to newspaper reports, seems to be involved in a multimillion pound hotel development venture in Lostock, Bolton, maybe thats where our money is going. A quote comes to mind: 'Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. ' Do not be fooled again!

I was given a post dated cheque for cashback. After a year I place the cheque in my account, guess what? the cheque was returned as account closed. I went to FC , the chop had been closed for weeks. It still is closed. If any one knows where the owner is please let me know. Please never trust these guys.

I purchased a cash-back tariff over 14mths ago and was promised a my cash-back after 7mths of the contract had began. After numerous phone calls and going back 5 times, I still have not received my money and have been continuously 'fobbed off ' with lame excuses. (Infact, I was in the store one time when another customer came in with the same problem, only in his case, the poor guy had been waiting for 18mths!). I would never purchase ANYTHING from this company again. It has caused us too much distress, anxiety and inconvenience. More like UNFAIRCOM ....be warned.
