About Us

Brief description

A uniformed youth group based on traditions and discipline of the Royal Navy. Opportunities for young people to meet and take part in a wide variety of sports, social activities and training and education on a number of subjects eg. mechanical/electrical engineering, first aid, target shooting, cookery, life/self-help skills etc. Duke of Edinburgh's Award - adventurous activities including outdoor and water-based sports such as sailing, canoeing etc. Encourage leadership, teamwork, self-discipline and a community spirit. Training provided by qualified instructors who are unpaid volunteers.
A local registered charity, not a Pre-Service Group.
