Dog grooming salon The Woof Wash is run by Angela Grimes who has many years experience in the pets and animals sector. The salon opened in September 2007 and has been very well received by local pet owners. Angela is fully qualified and has attained the City and Guilds Level 3 Advanced Grooming certificate with Distinction. We provide local pet owners with a luxury pet grooming service and the salon is operated with a professional attitude but a friendly approach and we strive to let your pet have an enjoyable experience whilst with us. The services provided are: - Bathing and Drying - Grooming and Styling - Clipping to breed standard or owners preference - Ear plucking, ear, eye and skin fold cleansing - Nail clipping on all pets and birds - Microchipping. The salon service is able to offer a comprehensive range of shampoos and cologne, including medicated or flea treatment preparations. Tailored to the individual pet's requirements, the products are all high quality and are specifically designed and manufactured for animals. The salon can also administer most prescription preparations which have been supplied for the pet by the vet, please discuss when booking appointment. The Woof Wash has an expanding customer base, located in and around Bolton, Manchester, Wigan and even Chorley and we don't just cater for the breeds which require clipping, we love to see the short haired dogs too! We reserve Saturdays entirely for short haired breeds, although we can book appointments during the week to suit you too. So wether you have a chihuahua or a great dane we can give them a lovely pamper session and our walk in wet room makes it easy to accomodate even the biggest or less agile of dogs. In 2009 we expanded our boutique to incorporate an equestrian sector and now stock feed, supplements, treats, equestrian wares, riding/leisure attire, grooming/stable equipment, yard tools, designer dog beds, collars/leads, coats etc. If we don't have the item you require we will try our utmost to source it for you.

We stock the full range of Dr John dog food made by Gilbertson & Page. The varieties are Flake, Silver, Gold and Platinum and the prices on 15kg sacks are Flake - £8.49, Silver - £8.49, Gold - £9.49 and Platinum - £11.49. We have a good horse feed range and also stock the full Stephenson range -Economy mix - £5.95, Cool mix - £6.75, Conditioning mix - £7.25.
