Horwich School Of Motoring is a long established business owned by Stephen Bennett.

The company, which is based in Horwich (Bolton), originally started out in 1987 and Stephen has many years experience in the driver training industry. Stephen offers hourly lessons, intensive courses, Pass Plus and also offers refresher courses to enable clients who have not driven for a while to rebuild their confidence on the ever demanding roads.

Driving Lessons

When I turned 17, I was excited that I could drive but the thought of learning frustrated me. On my first couple of lessons I found it difficult to remember all the different techniques. However my instructor Stephen Bennett talked me through the process before I even switched on the engiene and maintained it during the driving process to keep me aware of my next move. This helped me a great deal as I felt confident and comfortable with the instructions given and that I was capable to complete them safely. When I was learning I was attending college at the same time, Stephen worked around my college hours and arrived on time every lesson. Stephen's friendly yet firm attitude allowed me to understand every detail of driving and by having lessons with this driving school I passed first time with only 3 minors. I am still confidently driving today and smile every time I drive passed Stephen's learner car. I would definately recommend Stephen as he made learning to drive enjoyable not scary.
